Our center is unique in Idaho Falls in that we combine the specialties of chiropractic treatment and massage therapy in one facility. We have extensive diagnostic systems on site with same day service for any test results.
Standing X-rays can be taken, developed, and interpreted on site within minutes. A 250 point combined chiropractic and physical therapy examination is used to determine accurately and scientifically the cause of a patients distress. This includes a computerized range of motion test.

Chiropractic

We have two licensed chiropractors on staff: Gary L Olaveson D.C. and William E. Clement D.C. Dr. Olaveson is the clinic director of Advanced Health and Physical Therapy Center in Idaho Falls Idaho. Dr. Olaveson has been an Idaho Falls Chiropractor for his entire 12 year career. Dr. Clement is the assistant clinic director at Advanced Health and Physical Therapy Center. Our chiropractors use an instrument called an activator to make spinal manipulations. The activator instrument uses a calibrated impulse of force to move a bone, such as vertebrae, faster than the muscles can react to the force. Thus, the bone is moved into the correct position without resistance of the muscles and tendons which work to maintain the bone in position. Thus allows misaligned bones to be realigned with great precision and accuracy. Our chiropractors are qualified in X-Ray imaging and diagnostics. Our chiropractors are specialists in diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation from car accident soft tissue injuries.

Massage Therapy

Our office has a full complement of massage therapists on hand to add the elements of healing touch to Chiropractic Care and Physical Therapy. Massage Therapy increases blood circulation to treated areas, relaxes trigger points in painful areas and soothes irritated muscles. Our massage therapist team works in conjunction with the chiropractors and the physical therapist to complete the synergy of healing care practiced at Advanced Health and Physical Therapy Center. This synergy of Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy is unique to our clinic in Idaho Falls and surrounding Eastern Idaho.

Aqua Massage or HydroMassage Therapy

In addition to massage therapist provided massage therapy, our office uses Aqua Massage or Hydro massage to supplement the other modalities used in our office.
